Book Abstract

在常用的中草药中，绝大多数是没有毒副作用的。但是，也有一些中草药有毒，极少数甚至是剧毒；有的虽无毒或毒性很轻，但几种中草药合用后便会发生中毒或不良反应。因此，自购中草药泡酒或煎服千万要小心，切勿滥用。
常见中草药毒性较大的有：红砒石、白砒石、水银、斑蝥、青娘虫、红娘虫等。毒性较小的有：生附子、生川乌、生草乌、生半夏、马钱子、雪上一枝蒿、巴豆、生天南星、天仙子、蟾酥、吕宋果、六轴子、枫茄子、枫茄花、白降丹、罂粟壳等。服用以上药物时必须十分注意。
如枫茄子泡酒或口服，可治疗风湿性关节炎，但服用剂量过大就有可能引起中毒，甚至死亡。另外，有些中草药虽毒性小，但用量过大也会产生毒副作用。如白果一般用量为5～15克，服用过量则会出现呕吐、腹泻、抽搐等中毒现象。
还有的中草药配伍应用时会发生中毒现象。例如，甘草不能与大戟、芜花、甘遂、海藻合用；乌头不能与贝母、栝楼、半夏、白蔹、白及合用；藜芦不能与人参、沙参、丹参、玄参、苦参、细辛、芍药合用。这就是中药配伍的“十八反”。
广大民众对一些中药广告不可偏信，如“本药为中药制剂，没有任何毒副作用”，事实上“是药三分毒”，没有不良反应的药物是不存在的。鱼腥草注射液是中药制剂，也确实有消炎作用，但其变态反应太多、太严重，使这个药在临床应用已受到限制，并引起药监部门的注意。2006年6月1日’，国家食品药品监督管理局下发了通知，由于鱼腥草注射液存在安全隐患，要求各地卫生部门暂停使用鱼腥草等7种注射剂。
