邵金陵，1982年毕业于西安医科大学，获学士学位；1989年毕业于第四军医大学口腔医学院正畸学教研室，获硕士学位；1999年毕业于第四军医大学口腔医学院正畸学教研室，获博士学位。现为第四军医大学口腔医学院正畸学教研室教授、主任医师。热爱口腔正畸临床工作，希望使用简单、高效且使患者感到舒适的方法达到美好的治疗效果。
黄世友，2002年毕业于广西医科大学口腔医学系，获学士学位；随后在广州军区部队医院从事口腔医疗工作，2009年毕业于第四军医大学口腔医学院正畸学教研室，获硕士学位；现为第四军医大学口腔医学院正畸学教研室在读博士。
刘东秀，1992年毕业于西安医科大学，获学士学位；随后在陕西省第四人民医院口腔科工作；2007年毕业于第四军医大学口腔医学院正畸学教研室，获硕士学位；现为陕西省第四人民医院口腔科副主任医师。

Book Abstract

第一章乳牙期、替牙期矫治的适应证
乳牙列期及替牙列期的矫治统称为早期矫治，与患者所处的生长发育状态有关，此时处于青春生长发育高峰期前。
该期的矫治依病种的不同，可以是单独的一期矫治，也可以是两期矫治（双期矫治）中的第一期矫治（或生长期矫治）阶段。
什么时候可以开始早期矫治？临床上一般是指在乳牙列完成期，约3岁左右开始，前提是患者具备了与医生合作的能力时，直至替牙列早期和替牙列后期，约10～12周岁。
乳牙列期及替牙列期是口颌及颅面形态的主要形成期。牙颌畸形的临床表现主要涉及牙齿、颌骨、功能三方面的障碍。在错畸形形成的早期进行矫治，常常可以用比较简单的方法，使许多异常情况在初始阶段就得到完全或部分治疗，在较短的时间内获得很好的矫治效果；或者至少减轻了牙颌畸形的程度，有助于简化生长发育完成后的正畸治疗。
但是，如果错过了这个时期，将丧失改变颌骨及牙槽骨发育的机会，一些畸形的矫治就会非常困难、效果不好甚至只能放弃。或者等待成年后采用口腔正畸——正颌外科联合矫治。
近年来.国内外的许多学者都在强调早期矫治的重要性。它的矫治目标是将影响儿童颅面和心理健康成长的牙齿、牙槽骨及颌骨异常减小或消除，维护和创建有利于正常建的咬合功能运动环境，改善不良的颌骨生长型。
在此，矫治时机的把握是十分重要的，何时开始治疗及选择哪一种治疗方法是关键。
乳牙期、替牙期矫治的适应证包括：

再来看一下大家对口腔正畸学这个学科的认识。目前在我国，大部分人，也包括了相当一部分的口腔医师是这样认识的：其一，口腔正畸科仅是一个将错乱的牙齿排列整齐的学科；其二，应当在牙齿换完后开始正畸治疗。那么，这样的认识正确与否呢？本书在结束时将对此进行回答。
近年来，伴随着要求矫正牙颌畸形的儿童、少年及成年人数量的迅速增加，口腔正畸治疗已经遍及基层医院及个体诊所。从事正畸治疗的医师愈来愈多，水平参差不齐，而面临的临床问题又非常复杂。对于不同年龄、不同时期的牙颌畸形，我们到底应做什么，能做什么，怎样来做？
