《当代麻醉药理学丛书：围术期液体治疗》作为《当代麻醉药理学丛书》8本分册中的一本，全书分为19个章节，较为系统地介绍了液体治疗的发展历史、液体的分类和特点、患者容量测定和监测、液体动力学和液体治疗的具体实施，以及各类临床上不同类别疾病的特殊处理，具有很高的参考价值和临床实践的可操作性。但要提醒读者注意的是，由于各章节的切入点不同，《围术期液体治疗》在液体选择容量监测等内容上难免存在一些重复，恳请同仁包涵，并加以甄别。
Author Description

薛张纲，男，1954年12月生于江苏省无锡市。1982年毕业于苏州医学院医学系，1985年考入上海医科大学研究生院，师从我国著名麻醉学家吴珏教授和蒋豪教授。1988年毕业后获硕士学位。现任副教授，麻醉科副主任。自大学毕业后即从事临床麻醉工作，擅长临床各科麻醉及危重病人的监护和治疗。

蒋豪，男，1935年10月出身于江苏。1959年毕业于上海第一医学院，医疗系。同年入中山医院麻醉科工作，于1962年考入上海第一医学院麻醉学教研室研究生。师从我国著名麻醉学家吴珏教授。1988～1989年赴美进修临床麻醉一年，1990年晋升为教授，1994年建立麻醉学博士点，任命为博士生导师。
从事麻醉学临床医教研工作已近40年，先后发表论文30余篇，重点是临床麻醉工作，血流动力学监测，麻醉药的临床药理，麻醉期间控制性降压的临床和实验研究，联合麻醉以及危重病员的救治和麻醉质量的控制。1995年起成上海市领先学科，获多项科研基金赞助，已培养硕士研究生6名，博士研究生2名，在读博士研究生2名。1995年获卫生部先进工作者。

第1章 液体治疗的历史与变革
第一节 液体治疗的历史
静脉内液体治疗的历史久远，最早可以追溯到1492年。那一年罗马教皇英诺圣特病危，群医束手无策，意大利米兰有位叫卡鲁达斯的医生提出只有教皇直接输入童男的热血才能挽救其生命。他残忍地割开了3位10余岁男孩的血管，让鲜红的血液流入教皇的血管中，教皇立即感到胸闷窒息而慢慢地死去。
在公元17世纪以前，人们还并不知道血管和体液是如何工作的，不知道血型是怎么一回事，这样的输血治疗是幼稚而野蛮的。到了17世纪初，英国解剖和生理学家William Harvey通过动物实验研究，描述了心脏和循环系统；证明了心脏是血液是血液涌动的原动力，血液由心脏流出，经动脉流布全身，再由静脉回到心脏。1628年，他撰写了《血液循环论》一书。在这本书中，他揭示了前人关于心脏与血液理论的错误，明确地提出了血液循环理论。根据他的循环理论，血液可以携带液态药物送往人体各部，治疗人体内部疾病。
第二节 输血的起源
英国牛津大学年轻的生理和医生Lower认为血液可以用来注入人体控制疾病，他于1665年2月现助手一起演示了动物间的输血。他用一根角管连接两只狗的颈动脉与颈静脉，让血液流通，接受输血的狗成活了。
