人人都希望自己可以拥有一个“好记性”，而生活中，人们评判记性好坏的标准往往就是记忆速度的快慢。不过，有些人虽然背得快，但往往忘得也快。还有人虽然用最短的时间完成了背诵，可却总是错误百出。背了就忘，一背就错，即使背得再快又有什么用呢？所以说，评判一个人是否拥有一个好记性，并不只是单看他的背诵速度，还要从记忆保持时间的长短，记忆的准确程度等多方面来考虑。下面，就让我们来了解下评判一个人记性好坏的标准。
一个人记忆力的好坏，科学上我们将其称之为“记忆品质”。而判断记忆品质的好坏，我们可以从敏捷性、持久性、准确性、备用性四个方面来衡量及评价。
1.记忆的敏捷性及提高敏捷性的方法
记忆的敏捷性体现的是一个人记忆速度的快慢，或者说，反映一个人在一定时间内所能记住事物数量的多少。曾有学者做过这样一个实验，学者让受试者们去识记一系列的图形，实验过后发现，所有受试者中，有人只需要看这些图形33次就可以全部记住，而有人却需要看75次才能将图形记住。这个实验就充分说明了人的记忆在速度方面，也就是敏捷性方面，是存在着明显差别的。那么，是什么造成了我们记忆敏捷性的不同呢？是大脑皮层中条件反射形成的速度。条件反射形成得快，记忆就敏捷；条件反射形成得慢，记忆就迟钝。
当然，每个人都希望自己的记忆力敏捷，因为这样就可以在单位时间内获得更多的知识。那么该如何提高我们记忆力的敏捷性呢？可以从以下三点开始做起：首先，平时要加强锻炼，通过锻炼而使自己的记忆力敏捷起来；其次是在记忆的时候要集中注意力；最后，充分利用头脑中原有的知识，以此来获得新的知识。也就是在旧的条件反射基础上去建立新的条件反射。通过以上三点，相信，你的记忆力一定会逐渐敏捷起来的。
2.记忆持久性及保证持久性的方法
记忆的持久性是指一个人对所记住的事物保持的时间长短。仅仅拥有记忆敏捷性还不能被称之为“好记忆”，如果是记得快，忘得更快，那记得快也就没什么实际意义了。所以说，一个好的记忆力，还必须具备“持久性”，让所记的事物在头脑中保持长久的时间。
记忆的持久性是记忆巩固程度的体现，从生理学的角度上来说，记忆的持久性取决于条件反射的牢固性。条件反射建立得越牢固，那记忆就越持久；而如果条件反射建立得越松散，那记忆则越短暂。同时，记忆的持久性一般与“复习密度”有关。对已经记忆的事物在适当的时机进行适当的复习，使条件反射不断的强化而得到巩固，这样才能保证记忆的持久性。
3.记忆准确性及改善准确性的方法
记忆的准确性是指对所记忆内容质量的保证。记得快、记得久，可记得却不准，显然，这样的记忆对我们依旧是毫无用处的。总是记忆不准确，那这种记忆只会在我们学习知识和积累经验的过程中帮倒忙，这就好比驾驶汽车的时候弄反了目的地的方向，即使开得再快，其结果也只能是距离终点越来越远。所以说，记忆的准确性是良好记忆最重要的特点，是保证人们获得正确知识的重要心理品质。
