（一）企业自身与外部权威机构对社会责任绩效进行评估，提升报告可信度
国际知名食品企业综合采取多种措施以确保报告披露的信息和数据具有较高的可信度。一方面，企业内部在报告撰写过程中，对数据图表等进行一一核实，确保所有信息和数据都能如实反映公司的情况；另一方面，聘请权威的非金融机构对社会责任绩效进行评估，并结合第三方专门机构对企业社会责任报告进行审核，以确保报告内容的真实可信。达能（DANONE）在可持续发展报告中，增加了道琼斯指数评估，并取得了87分的好成绩，同时引入权威会计师事务所毕马威（KPMG）提供的第三方独立审验。这些内外结合的措施大大提高了企业社会责任报告的可信度和质量。
（二）社会责任报告结构规范、信息可靠
根据表2—2，分析近年来国际知名食品企业发布的社会责任报告可知，这些报告大都严格参照国际标准而披露信息，结构严谨且规范，内容完整，具有很高的精确性。以美国的百事公司（PEPSICO）为例，在编写报告过程中，始终坚持遵循GRI的框架，以此确保内容的完整性和结构的规范性。百事公司于2013年连续七次被列入道琼斯可持续发展世界指数（DJSI World），连续八次被列入道琼斯可持续发展北美指数（DJSI North America）。以法国的达能集团（DANONE）发布的《2013年可持续发展报告》为例，报告篇幅达170页，报告介绍了达能公司在社会责任实践中的主要做法，并从经济、环境、社会、人权等多个角度对集团在2013年社会责任履行进行了评估，详尽地展现了各个关键绩效指标数据。
